Our knitwear is made in Istanbul by a small, family-run workshop we’ve partnered with for over a decade. They’ve been honing their craft since 1989 - now led by the second generation, with a deep, quiet knowledge passed from one to the next. What began with a single email and a leap of faith has grown into one of the strongest relationships we have.
At the time, knitwear was a tiny part of what we did - just a few trial pieces, all pretty unsuccessful. But they saw something in us, and we saw something in them. That mutual belief shaped the way we work today: openly, honestly, and with respect for the people behind the clothes.
Their operation remains deliberately small, defined by handwork, heritage machinery, and attention to detail. Every piece of our SS25 collection is knitted using Global Organic Textile Standard certified organic cotton and finished in-house by a tight-knit team of skilled makers. There’s care in every seam, and time in every stitch.
This is clothing with a clear provenance, shaped by people we know well and speak to often. We visit regularly, and we’re welcomed like friends. It’s not about scale or speed - it’s about doing things properly, and building something lasting.
